BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The Minister of Christian Education and members of the board plan and evaluate the following Christian education efforts:

A.) Sunday School Program
B.) Vacation Bible School
C.) After Church Activity Program
D.) Children Church Program
E.) Educational Scholarship Program
F.) Other Christian Education Activities

The board meets every 5th Sunday immediately following morning worship services.

MUSIC MINISTRIES

The Minister of Music plans and develops all aspects of the ministry while working in conjunction with the pastor and members of the Music Committee. The Music Ministry at the East Second Street Church of God consists of the following:

A.) Sanctuary Choir B.) Youth Choir
C.) Ladies Trio
D.) Ladies Quartet
E.) Mixed Quartet
F.) Various Soloists

Mission: To introduce and i nstill the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our young people at an early age.
                   (Psalm 71:17; Proverbs 22:6; Ecclesiastes 12:1)


Purpose:
To encourage young people to put their hope and trust in the Lord. (Psalm 71:5);
Equipping our youth with the Word of God so that they can become leaders to other young people and not followers.
(1 Samuel 12:2)


Youth Ministries:

Y.F.C. Children's Church (Ages 6 - 11):
Every Sunday from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

Y.F.C. Youth Recreation Time:
Every Sunday after morning service in the Family Life Center from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Y.F.C. Youth Event:
Every 3rd Saturday of the month. Event location will be announced in advance.



YOUTH  CONVENTION:
N.I.Y.C - National Inspirational Youth Convention - Indianapolis, IN.
